Located in the unspoilt seaside town of Silloth-on-Solway, Solway Holiday Village is a 120-acre family holiday park that has something for everyone to enjoy. Accommodation 4, 6 & 8 berth We have available both mobile homes and chalets, which are all situated around the main holiday complex. The chalets provide comfortable accommodation with two or three bedrooms, large lounge area with convertible sofa/bed, TV, fully fitted kitchen with microwave, bathroom with bath & shower, wc and sink. The mobile homes provide modern accommodation, which sleep up to six & eight persons. Each mobile home has two or three bedrooms, bath/shower with separate wc, lounge area with convertible sofa bed, TV, full kitchen facilities with microwave. Bed linen is provided; please bring your own towels, toiletries & tea towels.
Tournament Details
In 2009 we have 3 tournaments planned and we plan to have over 120 teams attending our events. Being one of our most popular destinations, it is strongly recommended that you enter your team as early as possible to ensure you don't miss out. This year, our established mini soccer tournaments expect to attract teams from England, Scotland and Wales with. In each of the 3 events: CUMBRIA CUP, BORDERS TROPHY and SOLWAY CLASSIC, teams will play each other once with the top two teams contesting the final. On arrival, there is no need to use your car again as the football pitches are situated adjacent to the holiday centre. The football pitches are in exceptional condition: facilities include changing rooms; toilets; pitch side attractions; and catering facilities. We are expecting each age group to have upto nine teams with each team playing a minimum of eight games, plus finals during a two-day period.
